Connect MCP

Remote MCP from Taxomat for ChatGPT, Codex, Claude, Cursor, and other clients. Sign in with OAuth, or a personal token from AI and API. REST endpoints are on the API page.

Connect

MCP URL

https://app.taxomat.cz/mcp

If ChatGPT or Codex later asks you to sign in again, choose Authenticate in the client. On the Optimal plan the connection is time-limited; on Maximal there is no limit.

  1. In ChatGPT open Settings → Apps & Connectors. Under Advanced turn on Developer mode. (OpenAI moves this menu; look for Developer mode and a custom connector.)
  2. Create / add a custom connector. Name Taxomat, URL the MCP address, authentication OAuth — not a token and not “no authentication”.
  3. Finish sign-in in Taxomat, pick an Optimal or Maximal plan group and its accounts. Add another group later on AI and API.
  4. Enable the connector in the chat (plus / sources) and ask e.g. “What open stock positions do I have?”.

  1. In ChatGPT desktop / Codex open Settings → Plugins (or MCP servers) → Add → Connect to a custom MCP.
  2. Set Type to Streamable HTTP, not STDIO.
  3. Set Name to Taxomat and URL to the MCP address below. Save, restart Codex, then click Authenticate in the list. The browser opens the Taxomat consent screen.
  4. Great — you're connected. In chat type /mcp and ask about open stock positions.

MCP URL

https://app.taxomat.cz/mcp

Optionally from the CLI (not required if you use the desktop app):

codex mcp add taxomat --url https://app.taxomat.cz/mcp

In a terminal (not inside a claude session) add the server. --scope user = every project.

claude mcp add --scope user --transport http taxomat https://app.taxomat.cz/mcp
  1. Run claude, type /mcp, select taxomat, then Authenticate. The browser opens the Taxomat consent screen.
  2. Great — you're connected. You can ask about open stock positions.

Same MCP URL. If the client can do OAuth, add the server and Authenticate (the browser opens Taxomat consent). If it only accepts a pasted key, create a personal token under the user menu → AI and API.

  • Cursor: Settings → MCP, URL the MCP address, type Streamable HTTP. Authenticate, or put url plus Authorization Bearer with a personal token in mcp.json.
  • Gemini CLI: gemini mcp add --transport http taxomat and the MCP URL. In the client /mcp auth taxomat.
  • VS Code Copilot: mcp.json type http and the URL. Auth in the editor, or an Authorization Bearer header with a personal token.
  • Claude.ai: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, MCP URL, sign-in OAuth.

Disconnect in Taxomat from the user menu → AI and API.
